Nothing is better than enjoying an extensive and special high tea after a long walk through the wooded surroundings of Vught and Den Bosch. A table full of delicious high tea bites&snacks, with good company and a beautiful location – what more could you want? Come and enjoy an extensive high tea party in our brasserie at Maurick Castle!
The High Tea at Maurick Castle is only possible by reservation, you can reserve and cancel up to 48 hours in advance. In case of cancellation within 48 hours in advance, we are forced to charge 50%.
What is a high tea?
A high tea, or afternoon tea as they call it in England, is a true tea ceremony consisting of small savory and sweet dishes. Together with friends, family or colleagues you can fully enjoy various delicious high tea bites&snacks at, for example, a high tea brasserie or restaurant. The high tea is prepared on the basis of various special high tea recipes. With the high tea bites&snacks you naturally drink a delicious cup of coffee or tea. In the Netherlands, the high tea or tea party is often served in the afternoon between 12pm and 4pm.

At Maurick Castle you can enjoy a delicious high tea party in brasserie Catharina van Maurick seven days a week between 12pm and 4pm. This high tea is slightly different than usual by the way. Our guests sometimes call it the best high tea in the Netherlands. This is not only due to the ambiance of the atmospheric castle. You will be amazed by the beautiful view over the inner garden orcastle moat. But the hot, cold, savory high tea bites&snacks and sweet treats freshly prepared by the chefs are just that little bit more special. A high tea at Maurick Castle is definitely a good idea!
