As official wedding location of the municipality of Vught, Castle Maurick is a beautiful place to say yes! But you’re also at the right address for a festive dinner and a dream party within our castle walls. Spend the night? That’s possible in our romantic bridal suite, the former dovecote of the castle. At Castle Maurick we love to help u with arranging an unforgettable wedding!

Getting married at a castle

The perfect wedding looks different to everyone else. A wedding is a lot of work, there’s a lot to be arranged and there’s a lot of questions no doubt. At Castle Maurick we like to take our time to discuss all wishes and put together the ultimate wedding day. We start with an introduction visit, so u get a chance to have a good view of the wedding location. Our castle near Den Bosch has a romantic, classic ambiance, but at the same time it is stylish and contemporary.

Would you like to get married at a castle? The wedding ceremony can take place in our beautiful Serre (conservatory), de Jachtkamer (hunting room), de Van Lanschotkamer (Van Lanschotroom) or in De Beresteynkamer (Beresteynroom). Prefer to get married in the woods or does a festival wedding appeal to u? If the weather’s good there is also the possibility to get married outside in our specially intended ceremonial garden or our events garden with a swing near the moat! At night after dinner there is the possibility to party at the Orangery and (if desired) the Serre or at the Catharina Salon.

23 juni 2018 During preparations we already noticed that every effort was made to make our day go exactly the way we had in mind, and it was a great succes! Together u really made sure that this day went more than smoothly and we had a perfect wedding. We, and our guests too will remember this day for years to come.

Wedding dinner: a gastronomic voyage of discovery

Besides being a location for a wedding ceremony and a wedding party Castle Maurick is also the perfect place for a wedding dinner. Think of a stylish and classy dinner with nicely laid tables or dine in the form of a richly filled buffet, the possibilities are endless!
As a wedding couple you get the chance in advance to have a tasting dinner or a tasting lunch in restaurant Hendrik van Maurick. Together with patron-cuisinier Niek van Lieverloo you will discuss the culinairy interpretation. You can have dinner with your wedding guests in in of our ‘private dinning’ rooms on the day of your wedding. For example in the authentic Jachtkamer or underneath the old beams in the Van Lanschot room. Is the weather good? Then take a seat in the courtyard, under the atmospheric lights in our garden or on our Catharine van Mauricks terrace.

The icing on the cake

Of course on a day like this, the wedding cake should not be missing! After the wedding ceremony it is time to have a toast and cut the cake. While you are receiving all the congratulations and well wishes, the wedding guest are enjoying themselves in the stylish Orangerie or on the intimate outside terrace under the white wisteria. The pastry chef can be chosen by yourself. But we like to give you some suggestions too!

23 juni 2018 ‘The food was excellent, even better than we remember from our tasting dinner. Sublime and ‘oooo...are the words our dayguests told us later. Many compliments for patron-cuisinier Niek van Lieverloo and his team: amazing! It was really nice to notice that you took our food allergies into account so well, because we were all a bit nervous about that.’

Sleeping in a castle: spending the night in the bridal suite

After a special day filled with nerves, joy and all sorts of emotions it feels lovely to arrive at the bridal suite together. Always wanted to sleep in a castle? At Castle Maurick you can extent your wedding day with an iht spend in our romantic bridal suite. The suite is situated in the former dovecote of the castle. In the floor of the suite there is a view through glass to the underlying wine cellar. There’s only wine in there belonging to bridal couples that marry at Castle Maurick. U too get your own bottle of Bordeaux when you stay at the bridal suite, with your name and wedding date on it. We will hand over this special bottle of wine on or around your wedding anniversary: a special moment!

Besides the bridal suite we have two more unique extra castle suites, so a few guest can stay over at Castle Maurick. This way you can enjoy an extensive breakfast together whilst reminiscing about your wedding day. In addition we have a very good cooperation with two hotels in Vught and Sint-Michielsgestel within a less than 10 minutes drive radius.

Naast de bruidssuite hebben we ook twee unieke extra kasteelsuites, zodat een aantal gasten kunnen overnachten op Kasteel Maurick. Zo kunnen jullie de volgende ochtend samen nagenieten tijdens een uitgebreid ambachtelijk ontbijt. Daarnaast is er een fijne samenwerking met twee hotels in Vught en Sint-Michielsgestel op minder dan 10 minuten rijden.

Winter wedding with guaranteed snow or marrying on a Sunday

Would you like to get married in winter? At Castle Maurick we like to make every wedding as magical as the castle itself! That is why we offer a winter wedding with snow guarantee. We dispose of our own snow cannon that wraps the courtyard in a white layer: special wedding pictures guaranteed! A bonus of getting married in the winter, is availability. Outside the wedding season we have a bit more space and possibilities. This also applies for special days, think about marrying on a Thursday or Sunday.

Klaas van Leengoed ‘You are also very welcome at Castle Maurick for other parties or celebrations up to 450 people, like a silver- or golden wedding anniversary, a jubilee, reception or baby shower. Feel free to contact us for all possibilities!

All our guests loved the location, both appearance and service, Everything was organized to perfection: the welcome, the ceremony including decoration ( and the music timing was perfect!!), the drinks after were one big party, dinner was exactly what we wanted; everybody at round nicely laid tables and the food was out of this world good and food allergies were taken well into account. We also had a lot of compliments about the wines. The party was the apotheosis of the whole day; incredible.

Getting married at Maurick Castle?

Nadine & Michael ‘Celebrated an amazing wedding here in early November. Everything went smoothly, they thought along with us, service was beyond excellent. There were couples that due to that want to get married at the castle too in the future, Diner was so good, we had such lovely food that we will be talking about it for years to come.. And we will come back for more. Excellent service during the party and very good response to all our guests needs. Me (the groom) and also my bride were short of nothing, we experienced the personal service that evening. Personal service from the start with our introductory talk up till our actual wedding day was beyond absolutely great. I would like to thank everybody who has had a part in the most beautiful day of our lives.
